Flotsam and Jetsam.

Things I did in the month of September:

*Went to Georgie's 21st

-Took photos, am yet to go through photos for good ones.
-Smoked herbal shisha, made little brothers smoke shisha.
-Blew out candles, ate cake.
-Released balloons, watched lanterns.

*Went to Melbourne for a flying visit.

-Went with Jono and Cait.
-Stayed in an odd little apartment near the centre of town.
-Went to Parklife.
-Parklife was cold. But a pretty relaxed festival, good mix of people, good bands.
- Went to the Mana Bar, had a Princess Peach, and a Health Potion. Sadly, it did little to improve my health.

*Got sick

-Illness has progressed. Impressive sounding cough.
-Rang mother, mother concerned.
-Told mother to concentrate on father, who seems to have magnetic trailer that pulls pedestrians under it.
-Have been through 2 bottles of cough syrup in 3 days. Promise I'll quit. Tomorrow.

*Didn't do much uni.

-Yeah.

Transposing scribblings into blog time:
"28th September 2011
I am SICK. Fully and completely sick. I bribed one of my housemates to drive me into town to get Orange Juice, which is so important it deserves capital letters, and I nearly vomited in the car. That sick. My throat is dry and my lungs are moist and sluggish. My cheeks are as hot as Hades; hell is on Earth.
Ample staying in bed time and not doing Uni work means that I have been catching up on glorious television.

"Sherlock" is a modern day retelling of Conan Doyle's 'Sherlock Holmes". Written by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, both of Dr Who fame, it took a bit of getting used to, but it's brilliant. The very aspergers-y eccentric Sherlock Holmes, and the straight backed ex military Dr Watson.

Sadly, its only 3 episodes long.
BUT WHAT EPISODES!

I haven't been doing all that much photography, oddly enough. O.o
Well, digital stuff anyway. I have a darkroom subject, so black and white film is what i've been using. I want to scan my negatives up and put them in places. The darkroom chemicals are hurting my throat at the moment. So ive been avoiding it. Not much time left til the end of term. Should get a shuffle on."

End of scribblings.
